When I was first learning to build I would often use Harbinger’s Sand Box if it were not too busy. Since I have a home where I can build I have not been back in a while. Yesterday I was taking a tour of my landmarks to see if they were still working and landed at the boards that hold the free textures for taking at Harbingers Sand box.
I picked up a box of freebies and went down to open it.
I was thrilled to find some new things down there. First I discovered some wonderful new tutorial boards which work like vendors. There is a tutorial I have been hoping to find for months!! It is a really simple direct explanation of how to use Gimp! I actually understood it!
Next to it was a tutorial for Rokuro , a program for making sculpties in real life for import into SL. There are five of these wonderful tutorials there for your use in learning skills for building .
As I turned to leave , a stool caught my eye and I walked over to see what it was doing there.Three stools faced three TV viewers One can sit and watch Torley Linden’s tutorial videos. What a nice surprise! This is a great addition to an already wonderful Sand Box for those who need instruction on how to begin building and using textures in SL Be sure to take a look at all this .
