A culmination of months of work and investment, this extremely high detailed cruise liner sits on 3 whole sims. 650 sq m in length and totalling 15,000 prims it’s something you really need to see with your own two eyes. Only problem you will have is fitting the whole ship on one screen!!
I had the chance to talk to Bella LaSalle who is one of the cruise ship directors.
Trinity Dechou: Ty for meeting with me Bella
Bella LaSalle: yqw
Trinity Dechou: can I ask are you in charge of the SS Galaxy?
Bella LaSalle: not on my own no, we have a team of cruise directors, the financier of the ship Nova Straf and the builder Bill Stirling
Trinity Dechou: Do you happen to know what made Nova and Bill decide to build a ship?
Bella LaSalle: I know Bill had a vision.. to build the most realistic cruise ship in sl. he spoke about it for a few months b4 he got started
Trinity Dechou: what is the aim of the SS Galaxy, what do you provide here
Bella LaSalle: well the main part of the ship is residential, and we have the mal for vendors.
Trinity Dechou: yes I have seen a few ballrooms, a casino and a wedding chapel, all the things you might find on a real life cruise ship
Bella LaSalle: not everyone can go on a real cruise :), renting cabins is nice for ppl to feel like they are here on a cruise
Trinity Dechou : is the Galaxy open to public now?
Bella LaSalle: yup, and has been from day one, but our opening weekend starts on the 16th, we have a 3 sims event, pool party, ballroom, then the club..
Trinity Dechou: Although the Galaxy is not officially launched have you had many enquiries already for cabins etc
Bella LaSalle: yup.. We’ve been full for a while now
Bella LaSalle: the captain’s suites have just been finished and are already occupied
Trinity Dechou: well thank you Bella, was lovely to get the time to talk to you
